AREVA Type OSKF
69 kV to 765 kV

AREVA offers a complete line of oil-filled current transformers for metering and protection applications from 69 kV to 765 kV. For 69 kV applications, please also refer to our QualiCast line of instrument transformers, which offers a dry-type design, AREVA type GIF72.

The AREVA OSKF design has an excellent in-service record spanning well over 30 years, largely due to the safety features offered in the standard unit.

All housings are cast-aluminum and no painting is required over the life of the unit.

All OSKF current transformers are available with either porcelain or polymer insulators.

For special revenue metering applications, AREVA offers the ERCT (Extended Range Current Transformer) option in the OSKF design. The design incorporates a state-of-the-art core/coil design with the proven OSKF insulation structure. The ERCT offers a 0.15B1.8 accuracy class across a very wide current range in three standard configurations:

Type 1            
2000:5A           0.15B1.8 from 1A to 4000A Primary Current

Type 2            
1000:5A           0.15B1.8 from 0.5A to 2000A Primary Current

Type 3            
500:5A             0.15B1.8 from 0.25A to 750A Primary Current
